Unbowed Nancy shows no fear of the sack yet Celtic fans unleash fury following loss.
The Celtic boss stated he was not afraid of the sack, claiming, “The team is very near to things turning around,” in the wake of moving dangerously close to the chopping block with a heavy loss to the Ibrox side.
A Second-Half Collapse Leads to Derby Loss

The coach remains focused on the fact Celtic show good levels for a half at a time. Indeed, if not for missed chances they could have been greater than 1-0 up. “There were positives except the fact that we missed more goals,” he said. “I know that we lost, but I have also to be objective.
“The level we had at times was exceptionally high. That happened. And I would not speak so positively if it was untrue. That is the reason, when it comes to wins, I mentioned this is the same story. For that reason I said that we are really close to things turning around. But for the moment: the fine margins.”
“We produced many, many good things that we did, once more. The issue now comes down to consistency. My outlook would change the same. This is why I firmly believe we’re going to be able to get back on track.”

The victorious boss refused to contemplate a championship push despite what appeared to be a landmark win. “We take it game by game, then we can develop momentum,” he said. “The belief in the group is outstanding.”
